London Stabbing: Two Jewish Men Injured, Israel Calls for Immediate Action

Two Jewish men, aged in their 30s and 60s, were stabbed in Golders Green, north London, and taken to hospital where they are reported to be in stable condition.

A 45-year-old suspect has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Authorities say the individual also tried to attack police officers before being subdued with a taser. The case has been handed over to counterterrorism investigators.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the incident as “absolutely appalling,” while London Mayor Sadiq Khan described it as a “horrific attack,” noting a broader rise in antisemitic incidents.

In recent weeks, several fires and attempted arson attacks have targeted locations associated with the Jewish community in London, heightening concerns.

In response, Israel has urged the United Kingdom to take “decisive” and “urgent” measures.
